For the production of protein bars, a customer will be using Nexaflow NF2-FP30 peristaltic pumps in a food-grade version going forward.
The operating principle of peristaltic pump technology offers a key advantage: The pumped medium comes into contact only with the inside of the tube. This allows the area in contact with the product to be clearly defined—an important consideration for applications in food processing.
With this project, Nexaflow once again demonstrates just how versatile our pump technology can be—from demanding industrial processes to modern food production.
