New applications call for new solutions! An exciting customer project in the fertilizer industry demonstrates just how versatile our Nexaflow peristaltic pumps can be.
The focus is on processing organic fermentation residues, which serve as raw material for fertilizers. Fluctuating solids content ranging from 5 to 15 percent, along with sand and plant residues, place special demands on the pumping technology. The need was for a compact, robust solution that would operate reliably even under varying flow conditions and frequent start-stop cycles.
After jointly evaluating various pump models, we decided on our NF2-27. With its flexible range of applications, it provides a suitable foundation for this innovative application while also opening up potential for further projects in the fertilizer industry.
The result: An innovative application for Nexaflow that demonstrates how proven peristaltic pump technology can be used to address new industrial challenges.
